The extra-fine mesh basket lets even my favorite loose-leaf jasmine steep without a single stray leaf in my cup, and the lid does a great job trapping the scent while it works. The glaze has a nice depth to it that makes the mug feel more special than my usual plain ceramic one.
I was skeptical about another infuser mug but the lid really does lock in the tea's aroma while it steeps, and the reactive glaze makes it look like a handmade pottery piece instead of a gadget. The basket is fine enough that I don't get leaves in my sip, which is my usual pet peeve.
