The porcelain feels dense and sturdy, not fragile like some teapots I’ve owned, and the 27 oz capacity is perfect for a full pot of tea for two. Pouring is smooth with no drips down the spout, a detail I didn’t expect at this price point.
The cork band around the base is a clever touch—it keeps the pot from sliding on my tray even when my hands are wet from rinsing it. At 27 ounces it brews just enough for two generous cups, and the porcelain pours without a single drip down the spout.
The porcelain feels wonderfully weighty when you pour, and the 27 oz capacity means I don't have to fiddle with refills every five minutes. The natural cork band gives it a subtle warmth so it's not too fussy for daily use.
